Local power is necessary for the remote Access Point if you intend to use Aruba Smart Mesh technology, as Power over Ethernet, in that case, cannot be used.
This 12V power adapter can power Aruba Instant On Access Point models AP11, AP12, and AP15. A similar power adapter is included in the power bundles available for AP11 and AP12. Order this if you wish to power with an adapter but either you ordered the standalone unit, or you’ve misplaced or need a replacement for the power adapter in the power bundle.
